Sanna Annukka é uma ilustradora Inglesa/Finlandesa que trabalha com silk e técnicas de impressão em geral (xilo, silkscreen etc). A maior inspiração dela é a natureza e o folclore, além das lembranças de infância (quando ela “explorava” as florestas da Finlândia). O trabalho dela é bem colorido e cheio de ícones. É uma ótima fonte de inspiração!
Um dos trabalhos mais conhecidos dela é a Capa do disco do segundo disco do Keane: ‘Under the Iron Sea.’
Sanna Annukka is an illustrator and printmaker with a love for nature and folklore. She´s half finnish and half english and she takes her inspiration from her childhood exploring the forests of Finland. Annukka says in her website: “Another major influence is Finland’s national epic known as The Kalevala, a collection of folklore songs which i find quite magical.” Her work is colourfull and Iconic, really inspiring.
